If there is a magic recipe
for producing an international best seller, then the debut novel
from Ian Manners has used it.
Where Do I Belong? is a heart-rending story of innocent
lives and loves destroyed by racial hatred, international crime and
an unequal world. It follows one man's search for justice - or is it
revenge? |
| Sean Cameron
seems to have it made. Tall, good looking and a famous rugby
international, Sean falls in love with a beautiful Kenyan girl in
Germany. Just when his life seems complete, his girlfriend is brutally
attacked by neo-Nazis and left to die - along with his unborn child.
When his efforts to bring the killers to justice are frustrated
by the curious activity of the German police inspector assigned to
the case, Sean enlists the help of James Annen - an old rugby pal
and the first black soldier to enter the SAS.
While Sean and James close in on the murderers, your emotions are
taken on a rollercoaster ride as the plot bucks and twists from the
bars of Mombasa to the red-light district of Hamburg and gathers
pace as it hurtles towards its unexpected finale. |

Unfinished Business is the thrilling sequel to Where Do I Belong? but can
be read as a stand alone book.
Devastated by the murder of his beautiful Kenyan girlfriend, in 1994 Sean Cameron
emigrates to Kenya to bring up their young daughter.
Eighteen months later Sean is contacted by his best friend James Annan, a former SAS officer.
Annan, now a military advisor to foreign governments, asks for Seans's assistance on a project to
investigate a scam being operated at the new Golden City casino complex in neighbouring Tanzania.
As the net tightens, Sean becomes increasingly concerned about remaining in Kenya with his daughter.
Will they become the next victims of the murderous regime or will he take the risk and remain
until hopefully a new corruption-free government is elected.
